Sustainability Internship – ESG & Climate

Job description

As an Intern in our Rotterdam Office, you will have an active role in every aspect of the organisation. You will assist companies in assessing and advancing their sustainability initiatives, contribute to carbon footprint analysis and decarbonisation projects, and help our team implement meaningful sustainable changes within organisations. What you deliver

• Support client projects by assisting with ESG assessments, ratings, carbon footprint assessments, and sustainability strategies, and reporting.
• Contribute to developing and managing internal knowledge databases, ensuring the centralisation of key insights, regulations, and data.
• Collaborate with team members to capture and centralise best practices, enhancing organisational learning and continuous improvement.
• Work on sustainability gap analyses of our clients and develop roadmaps for improvement.
• Learn and apply various assessment methodologies (EcoVadis, BCorp, CDP…) and reporting standards (UNGC, GRI…), ESRS, as well as carbon footprint calculations methodologies (Scope 1,2,3GHG Protocol).
• Identify the actions and measures our clients need to embed sustainability into their DNA.
• Research specific sustainability topics and have a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Write, analyse, format, and summarise information, graphs, presentations, and reports.
• Support the project manager in client-facing calls.
• Collaborate with team members to document and share best practices, develop and maintain internal knowledge databases, centralising key insights, regulations, and data.
